Terms of use

Last updated: Sep 17, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of http://www.junkdash.com and the junk removal and hauling services provided by JunkDash.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (these "Terms") govern your use of the website located at www.junkdash.com (the "Site") and the junk removal and hauling services offered by JunkDash ("JunkDash," "Company," "we," "us," or "our"). JunkDash is operated by JunkDash LLC. By requesting a quote, scheduling a pickup, or otherwise using the Site or our services (the "Services"), you ("Customer," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site or the Services.

2. Services Provided

JunkDash provides junk removal, hauling, and related disposal services at the location and for the items specified in your service request and confirmed by JunkDash. The scope of Services is limited to the items and location agreed upon at the time of booking or confirmed on-site, as described in Section 6 ("Items Not Included in Service").

3. Quotes and Pricing

Quotes provided by JunkDash — whether by phone, email, text, or through the Site — are estimates based on the information and photographs you provide, including the type, volume, and condition of items to be removed. Final pricing is confirmed on-site at the time of pickup and may differ from the initial estimate if the actual scope of work differs from what was described, including additional items, inaccessible locations, or hazardous materials. JunkDash will communicate any change in price before beginning work whenever reasonably possible.

4. Payment Terms

Payment is due in full upon completion of the Services, unless otherwise agreed in writing. For multi-day projects, payment is due daily unless an alternate schedule is arranged in advance. JunkDash accepts PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, Apple Pay, credit card, debit card, cash, and checks as indicated at booking or on-site. For larger jobs requiring specialized equipment or additional crew, JunkDash may require a deposit prior to scheduling, which will be applied toward your final invoice.

‍

The individual who authorizes JunkDash to begin work is deemed authorized to bind the responsible party to these payment terms. If JunkDash performs Services you authorized and from which you receive a direct benefit, you are obligated to pay the fair value of those Services, regardless of any dispute regarding these Terms.

‍

Refunds are not issued for completed work except where JunkDash has made an error, in which case JunkDash will promptly correct the error or issue an appropriate refund or credit. Any dispute regarding the quality or scope of completed work should be raised with JunkDash immediately; raising a dispute does not relieve you of your obligation to pay for Services already rendered pending resolution. Amounts not paid within 15 days of invoicing may accrue interest at the maximum rate permitted under Maryland law, and JunkDash may recover reasonable collection costs, including attorney's fees, incurred in recovering unpaid amounts.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule a pickup by contacting JunkDash as far in advance as possible; we request at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a scheduled pickup may be subject to a cancellation fee. Any deposit paid may be retained if JunkDash has already mobilized crew, equipment, or resources for your job prior to cancellation. JunkDash reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a pickup due to severe weather, natural disaster, government order, utility outage, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control, and will make reasonable efforts to notify you promptly.

6. Items Not Included in Service

JunkDash reserves the right to decline to remove any item that was not agreed to as part of your confirmed request, including items discovered on-site that were not disclosed at the time of booking, or items JunkDash determines pose a safety, health, or legal risk. Items JunkDash does not accept include, without limitation, hazardous or regulated materials such as chemicals, paint, asbestos, and biohazardous waste. JunkDash will make reasonable efforts to inform you of any item it declines to remove and to discuss options, including an adjusted quote or a referral to an appropriate disposal service, before proceeding with the remainder of the job.

7. Electronic Devices and Data Removal

You are solely responsible for backing up and permanently deleting all personal, financial, and confidential data from any electronic device submitted for removal, including but not limited to computers, laptops, hard drives, external drives, tablets, phones, printers, and cameras. All such devices must be wiped, factory-reset, or otherwise cleared of personal data prior to pickup. JunkDash does not inspect, access, or wipe data stored on any device and assumes no responsibility for any data remaining on a device at the time of pickup or after disposal.

8. Warranties and Disclaimers

JunkDash will perform the Services in a professional and workmanlike manner. Except as expressly stated in these Terms, the Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. JunkDash does not guarantee the resale, donation, or recycling value of any item removed and makes no representations regarding the ultimate disposition of items after pickup.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JunkDash's total liability arising out of or related to the Services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Services giving rise to the claim. JunkDash shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising from or related to the Services. JunkDash exercises reasonable care while performing the Services but is not responsible for pre-existing damage to your property or for damage caused by items that were improperly disclosed or prepared for removal, including electronic devices not handled in accordance with Section 7.

10. Privacy

Our collection and use of your personal information in connection with the Site and the Services is described in our Privacy Policy, available on the Privacy Policy page, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11. Termination

JunkDash reserves the right to refuse service, cancel a scheduled pickup, or terminate its relationship with any Customer at its discretion, including for conduct that is abusive, fraudulent, unsafe, or in violation of these Terms. Verbal abuse, threats, harassment, or the creation of unsafe working conditions directed at JunkDash personnel will not be tolerated and may result in the immediate termination of Services; you remain responsible for payment for any Services completed prior to such termination. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination, including but not limited to Sections 7, 8, 9, and 12, will survive.

12. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall first be addressed informally by contacting JunkDash directly. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maryland, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

13. General Provisions

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and JunkDash regarding the Site and the Services. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. JunkDash may update these Terms from time to time; your continued use of the Site or the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Questions about these Terms may be directed to us at support@junkdash.com.
